21 species. Wingspan 8-13mm.

Very small mostly shiny and brightly marked moths which rest head down with their abdomens raised at an angle from the surface. Their larvae feed by boring into buds, shoots, leaves, bark and catkins of trees and shrubs including some conifers. They pupate in open mesh silken cocoons.
