Very common resident, imported from Australia and first recorded in Britain in 1936.

Extremely polyphagous on all sorts of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants with larvae feeding in tightly spun shoots and leaves in overlapping broods throughout the year.

Recorded in 105 (75%) of 140 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1976.
Last Recorded in 2024.
